The World Travel Awards is globally recognised as a prestigious honours programme in global travel and tourism and each win is the ultimate industry accolade.
The winner is voted for by travel and tourism professionals and consumers worldwide, and this honour recognises the commitment to excellence, which Mantis has proudly demonstrated.
The awards ceremony is the most prestigious travel and tourism event of the year and brings together leading figureheads and VIPs from across the globe.
Mantis Owners Collection comprises exclusive, family-run luxury villas, private game reserves, lodges, boats and yachts with a footprint on all seven continents.
The award-winning collection comprises over 30 magnificent properties in Botswana, France, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Scotland, Seychelles, Tanzania, the United Kingdom and of course, South Africa.
All of the handpicked, fully staffed and exclusive use properties in the Mantis Owners luxury villa portfolio represent the finest examples of their kind and celebrate the culture, gastronomy, architecture and nature of the locations in which they are found.
Mantis prides itself in putting together a tailored package suited to each of our individual clients. It is a personal experience that cannot be found anywhere else.
Just some of the exclusive properties in our collection include:
- Skydance Villa which lays sprawled out in splendour on the highest hills of Constantia, a well-to-do suburb next to Kirstenbosch Gardens. This 6-bedroom villa with its exquisitely tended gardens which is serviced by a borehole overlooks the mountain and ocean and enjoys various generous reception rooms and entertainment areas and pool room. Skydance Villa is offered as an exclusive use only in the heart of Constantia’s wine region and Kirstenbosch Gardens is a decadently indulgent yet informal for the perfect family vacation villa.
- 2010 Villa at Mantis No5 Boutique Art Hotel, a boutique guest house located close to the beachfront in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth. Launched in 2010; the year the Soccer World Cup was successfully hosted in South Africa, it is a property particularly dear to our hearts because 2010 was a year the rainbow nation will never forget. This exclusive-use residence, therefore, carries a strong Soccer World Cup theme, filled with incredible art pieces focused on the ‘beautiful game’ by local artist, Duncan Stewart.
- Another award winner – The Zambezi Collection – which packages The Zambezi Queen, luxury floating boutique hotel, as well as three intimate houseboats known as the Chobe Princesses. They all traverse along the Chobe River between Namibia and Botswana.
Founded in 2000, the Mantis brand has been acclaimed for its pioneering work in development, hospitality, marketing, education and conservation.
Our eclectic collection of boutique hotels, game reserves, eco lodges, ski lodges, yachts and private homes offer in-the-know travellers the most luxurious and altogether exceptional experiences imaginable.
