SA Tourism CEO Joins Speakers for THINC Africa 2017
HVS South Africa, organiser of the 2017 edition of the Tourism, Hotel Investment, and Networking Conference (THINC) Africa has confirmed that the CEO of South African Tourism, Sisa Ntshona, will be speaking at this much-anticipated conference coming up in Cape Town from 30-31 August.
“We are thrilled South African Tourism is joining us to THINC Africa. Tourism is THE industry that can pull the South African economy out of recession,” says Tim Smith, managing partner of HVS South Africa. “However, this will only work if all the invested parties work together. I can’t wait to hear what Sisa Ntshona has to say in promoting tourism in South Africa.”
Ntshona has more than 15 years’ experience in leadership roles in the financial services, aviation and manufacturing industries. Before joining South African Tourism, he served as the head of SME Banking at Barclays Africa. He is an executive with strong commercial experience having managed and run business operations successfully across the African continent and in the Middle East. As a thought leader and strategist at heart, Ntshona often identifies opportunities and develops the necessary processes to effectively capture new growth.
