Orion Hotels is proud to announce that Orion Mohale Lodge in Lesotho has been awarded three stars grading by the Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation.
Mohale Lodge caters to those with a passion for outdoor adventure or those looking to reconnect with nature. It is accessed via a good road that – as one of Africa’s highest and most scenic drives – offers incredible views of the almost surreal mountain landscape.
Accommodation is provided in 21 double rooms in the main lodge (with various combinations of double and twin en-suite rooms) overlooking the gardens. Five double rooms and 19 twin rooms in block B, seven double rooms and 17 twin rooms in block C. Mohale Lodge also provides one guest house with three bedrooms, two double and one twin room.
Additional facilities include the main restaurant and lounge with well-stocked library; lodge bar; full conference facilities; and a braai area – all with spectacular views of the mountains. Laundry and babysitting services are also available.
Mohale Lodge offers access to adventure activities including 4×4 trails; hiking and nature trails; mountain biking; rock climbing; pony trekking; and various adrenaline-fuelled sports. As well as local arts and crafts and Mohale Dam tours and village walks.
The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation awarded the lodge the three-star grading due to the significant upgrade of the accommodation facilities, quality of service and the tourism infrastructure.
