Thailand Tourism Prepares For WTM Africa 2020
Cape Town, 11 March 2020 – WTM Africa is well known as a hub for business-to-business (B2B) development within the travel and tourism industry, it, therefore, comes as no surprise that the Tourism Authority of Thailand is attending for the seventh year since its launch date.
Update: 13 March 2020 – Reed Exhibitions Africa has confirmed that Africa Travel Week, which comprises World Travel Market Africa (WTM Africa) and International Luxury Travel Market Africa (ILTMA), due to take place in April this year, has been postponed to 2021. Read the full article here.
Thailand is still a favourite amongst South African travellers with the overall number of visitors increasing annually. Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, Thailand continues to flourish and sustain an environment that entices travellers from across the globe, including South Africa, which will now be hosting select members of the media on a trip to experience the Open to the New Shades campaign launched in 2018.
Open to New Shades will also be explored at WTM Africa 2020 with the Tourism Authority of Thailand boasting shades of; Gastronomy, Arts and Craft, Nature and the ever-popular Culture and Thai way of Life!
TAT will be on stand number D05 and will be host to six sharing exhibitors, representing a selection of hoteliers from the Kingdom of Thailand.
