Steenberg does it again and ranks on World’s Top 100 list

Cape Town’s Steenberg Hotel has been voted onto the coveted Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards’ Top 100 Hotels & Resorts in the World list for the second year in a row. The celebrated boutique hotel not only made the Top 100 ‘roll of honour’ again this year, it also got the nod from readers of Condé Nast Traveler in the USA as one of the top 10 destinations on the African continent, in the category Top 25 Resorts & Safari Camps in Africa, earning a respectable ninth place overall with an impressive score of 94.4.

Steenberg’s General Manager Gaby Gramm is delighted with this repeated vote of confidence by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine – especially with ratings being based on individual perceptions of this unique, one-stop winelands destination.

‘Being voted twice in a row among the finest hotels and resorts in the world by discerning international travellers, all of whom have experienced our hospitality first-hand, highlights the consistently world-class guest experience that our team delivers. Steenberg is an experiential destination that offers many resort attractions, but I do believe it is our warm and caring service that inspires our guests to return again and again,’ she enthuses.

Steenberg has earned a string of major international accolades over the past few years.  Among these being named Global Winner Wine Tourism Services in the Great Wine Capitals’ Best of Wine Tourism Awards 2011, and being voted Best Luxury Hotel in Africa in 2011 by www.TripAdvisor.com, the world’s largest travel site.
