FEDHASA Cape in partnership with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) and Tourism Marketing South Africa (TOMSA) will team up to host a Tourism Industry Partnership Roadshow in a bid to address key issues affecting the hospitality and tourism industries.
The roadshow will take place 29–31 August in Kimberly, Upington and Springbok respectively at the following venues:
Kimberley: Tue 29 August at the Garden Court from 09h30 – 12h00
Upington: Wed 30 August at the Protea Hotel from 09h30 – 12h00
Springbok: Thu 31 August at the Masonic Hotel from 09h30 – 12h00

According to FEDHASA Cape chairperson, Jeff Rosenberg, discussions will centre a range of topics, including quality assurance, which covers grading and the illegal use of stars; the private sector’s voice, which looks at government lobbying and FEDHASA Cape’s role in this process as the voice of the hospitality industry, updates on legislation and benefits; as well as tourism marketing.
“This is an opportune time for us as industry leaders to put our heads together and discuss the thorny issues that affect our industry and brainstorm solid solutions,” Rosenberg said.
