Protea Stellenbosch Refurbishment
Protea Hotel Stellenbosch is currently undergoing a refurbishment of the bedrooms.
The hotel, which is conveniently located between two international golf courses in one of the most popular tourist towns in South African, has been refurbished for greater comfort and to further improve safety standards.
New furniture, art, soft furnishings, wooden floors and wall colours enhance the hotel’s beautiful, historical surroundings.
The hotel’s Deluxe rooms now each sport a corner couch that can be converted into two single beds, a perfect place for families, especially with the addition of a bigger television and a large desk that doubles as a dining table for four people. There are larger cupboards in the Deluxe rooms and high-spec connectivity allows GUESTS to conveniently connect any device to the large 50-inch TV.
Keeping in mind the needs of both business and leisure travellers, the hotel owners have included plenty of extra plug points and high-spec connectivity.
“Modern GUESTS, regardless of whether they come and stay with us at Protea Hotel Stellenbosch because they’re on holiday or because they’re on business, require access to the internet for their various devices,” said Danny Bryer, Sales, Marketing and Revenue Director of Protea Hotels.
Bryer said: “Stellenbosch remains a key tourism centre in the region and is also in high demand from families with children at the University of Stellenbosch. Protea Hotel Stellenbosch caters for a wide variety of traveller needs, including that of conference delegates due to the world class conference centre. This refurbishment modernises the hotel both in terms of creature comforts and in terms of modern connectivity needs.”
Upgrades to the hotel will be finished by the end of May.
