Peermont Launches Mmabatho Palms Revamp

The North West’s favourite entertainment and business destination, Mmabatho Palms Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort, has turned over a new leaf with the exciting facilities upgrade.  The upgrade, to the tune of R8 million, includes the opening of the brand-new contemporary Moo Bar, and renovations to the Leopard Conference Room and Casino smoking area.

Moo Bar, with its distinctive cow theme, is an entertainment venue renowned for lip-smacking cocktails and guarantees to be a popular destination to watch sports matches on big screens and enjoy live entertainment. The delightful venue includes a bar and outdoor seating on the terrace.   Visitors can also look forward to a variety of exciting events on the calendar, including Happy Hour Specials, Live DJs, Ladies and Gents Nights, and a New Year’s Eve bash that promises to end off 2017 with a bang.

Adding to the resort’s appeal, the Leopard Conference Room, which can comfortably seat up to 300 delegates, now features brand new lighting, plush new carpeting and a large, state-of-the-art projector screen that is every events planners’ dream come true.

The last in a series of exciting changes have been made to the Smoking Casino, where the repositioning of the bar provides more room for slots enthusiasts to enjoy the machines.  In addition, the walls have received a fresh coat of paint, the ceiling and smoke extractors have been replaced, and the bathrooms have also been revamped.

“We constantly work towards maintaining an overall atmosphere of fun and relaxation, and pride ourselves on being a destination where visitors can escape to and enjoy themselves,” says Sibusiso Thusi, the resort’s General Manager.  “The R8 million upgrades and the opening of Moo Bar is a testament to this vision and we would like all our visitors to have a memorable time at our resort.”
