Go2Africa have announced that Gary Lotter, formerly of &Beyond and Springbok Atlas, has joined their team as Managing Director from 3 February 2014. The former MD, Joanne Dickson, has taken on the role of new business development while Gary will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of Go2Africa as well as establishing and implementing its annual strategic plans.
Gary has sound background in the African travel industry, having started as a guide after obtaining his B.Sci at Wits. From there, he worked his way up the ranks at Matetsi and Londolozi before moving into regional management in East Africa. Along the way he completed Executive Development Programmes at Wits and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He was most recently COO at &Beyond and CEO at Springbok Atlas.
