New Appointments at Continental Tyre SA
New team members at CTSA set to bolster company profile in tourism transport market place.
Continental Tyre South Africa today announced the appointments of Niel Langner as Marketing Manager; Jiminy-Ann Knoetze Bosman as Public Relations and Communications Manager; and Morris Naiker as National Sales Manager.
“It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointees to our Sales, Marketing and Communications teams, operating from our head Office in Port Elizabeth” said Dieter Horni, Managing Director. “Investment in vibrant new talent ensures our growth in a competitive market and benchmarks us as leaders in the industry,” adds Horni.
Knoetze-Bosman joined the company on 22 April and hails from the retail property industry. Formally with Liberty Properties as their Regional Marketing Manager for their coastal portfolio, she a Masters degree in applied media and communication from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU). “I am truly delighted to join the Continental team in this exciting new role. I look forward to working with all the areas of the business and having a positive influence on the company’s public and corporate profile,” said Knoetze-Bosman
Langner, joins Continental Tyre SA with more than 20 years experience in the automotive Industry, with his most recent appointment being at General Motors in their after sales division. He holds a BSC honours degree obtained from the NMMU formally University of Port Elizabeth (UPE).
Passionate about marketing Langner said “I excited to be associated with such a strong Continental brand and I look forward to leveraging the high fitment levels in the original equipment market and translating this into the replacement market.” A challenge he is more than capable of attaining.
On 1 June, Naiker officially takes on his new position as National Sales Manager. Naiker, who joined the company in 1999 as a Customer Service Advisor, has extensive knowledge and experience in both the technical and sales sphere of PLT. He will be responsible for the steering and coordinating of the regional and key account sales structure for the replacement market in South Africa. “I believe that through the company’s strategic vision, Continental has what it takes to remain buoyant amongst the pressures of an otherwise flat market,” said Naiker.
