Mantis Intle Boutique Hotel is the latest addition to the luxurious hotels, eco-escapes and waterways of the Mantis Collection. “We are very excited about bringing Intle into the Collection as it is the perfect stopover before or after our guests explore the Garden Route,” said Adrian Gardiner, Executive Chairman of Mantis.

The Mantis Intle Boutique Hotel is located at the gateway to the Garden Route, Route 62 and Baviaans Kloof and epitomises the natural beauty, vastness and adventure for which these tourism routes are renowned.

The Intle experience is intimate and private, with just nine luxury rooms set on an 800-hectare private game reserve where guests have the freedom to roam among grazing game such as giraffe, zebra, impala, kudu, wildebeest, and inyala.

The room rates for the Intle Spring Breakaway package include two nights’ accommodation in a Superior Room, a bottle of wine, a bush picnic, dinner and breakfast. Intle has live availability, and you can contact Mantis Central Reservations Manager, Liezl Meyer, for contracted rates. This property is family-friendly and features a two-bedroom Family Room with a shared bathroom as well as a wing with two en-suite bedrooms that can be blocked off for private family use.

The Intle experience is about authentic, attentive service coupled with an intimate immersion in the beautiful landscape of the Gamtoos Valley. Guests can watch it all from the comfort of the infinity pool deck, or get active with nature trail walks, skeet shooting, hiking, and mountain biking. The onsite SigNature Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinners made with seasonal ingredients sourced from the Gamtoos area.

Mantis is proud to welcome Zjak & Sherice van Schalkwyk as the management couple at Intle, who join the Mantis team from Kapama in the Greater Kruger and are looking forward to a new challenge in the Eastern Cape. They are currently busy with the integration of Mantis Intle Boutique Hotel into the Mantis Accor central reservations and loyalty programmes. The integration will be completed by January 2020.
