DA’s James Vos to Speak at #THINCAfrica
James Vos, MP, the Democratic Alliance’s shadow minister of tourism, will be speaking at the inaugural Tourism, Hotel Investment and Networking Conference, THINC Africa, taking place in Cape Town on 6-7 September.
Tourism is a vital component of South Africa’s economy, not just in terms of GDP but also because it is a major contributor to job creation for both skilled and unskilled workers. Vos, who has been quoted as saying, “If tourism works, South Africa works”, will address the topic: ‘The role of government in promoting tourism in Africa’.
Vos is scheduled to speak on day two, 7 September from 9.10am until 9.30am.
