Cape Town based mirchee Destination Management visited Elundini Children’s Home for children with special needs and joined the Home’s founder Indy Kwana to host a magic show and provide happy meals with toys, and of course Santa.
The ‘We Care’ project is a part of mirchee’s CSI programme, which aims to raise public awareness on what regular people in the community are doing to help the community.
“This was a small programme hosted by mirchee to feed 130 children at Elundini Childrens Home and surrounding informal crèches within the Dunoon Township,” said Paris-Amanda Zinn, Senior Operations & Logistics Architect at mirchee.
“We also visited many other women in the community who have informal crèches running from their own homes, with no outside support or voice,” Zinn concluded.
